My Work
Through the TTC Experience Impact System, Strategic Advisory, and Speaking, I help hospitality, tourism, conservation, and wellness organizations evolve beyond transactional experiences toward more transformative, emotionally resonant, and regenerative models of travel and hospitality.
My work combines transformative experience design, systems thinking, stewardship, and future-focused strategy to help leaders strengthen differentiation, emotional loyalty, community impact, and long-term value creation. I’m especially drawn to working with nature-based, wild, and remote experiences where travel can deepen human connection to nature, foster stewardship, and create meaningful benefit for both people and place within the emerging Transformation Economy.

How I Help
For more than two decades, I have built travel companies and helped leaders create experiences that are more meaningful for guests, regenerative for places, and valuable for business.
Today, through strategic advisory, the TTC Experience Impact System, speaking, and education, I work with hospitality, tourism, conservation, and wellness organizations ready to move beyond transactional experiences. Together, we strengthen guest connection, emotional loyalty, stewardship, community benefit, organizational alignment, and long-term value.
I am especially drawn to nature-based, wild, and remote places where thoughtful experience design can deepen people’s relationship with the living world and inspire them to care for it.

Experience & Approach
My perspective comes from building and operating travel companies, not only advising them. I have worked across inbound tourism, adventure travel, luxury travel, guiding, eco-camps, retreats, destination development, education, and community engagement in the United States and internationally.
I helped build the field of transformational travel by bringing together entrepreneurship, experience design, adult learning, systems thinking, stewardship, and regenerative practice. My role is to help leaders see the whole, identify what matters most, and turn an ambitious vision into an experience and organization capable of delivering it.
This work is not about promising that an experience will transform someone. Transformation belongs to the traveler. Our responsibility is to create thoughtful conditions for meaningful change and to ensure that the places and people making the experience possible also benefit.
I’m an Oregon-boy, advisor, and field builder with a deep belief in travel’s potential to create stronger businesses, healthier communities, deeper human connection, and a more regenerative relationship with the natural world.
I’m especially energized by working with visionary leaders and teams creating nature-based hospitality and transformative experiences in beautiful, wild, and remote places where travel can foster deeper connection, stewardship, wellbeing, and long-term regenerative value for people, communities, and the natural world.

I love what I do and feel grateful every day for the work—and the people—I get to journey with. But to keep that fire burning, I need to step away sometimes—to recharge at home, in nature, with friends, family, and the open road.
I dive deep with my clients, which means I’m selective about how many projects I take on. It’s not just about quantity—it’s about impact.
